My first attempt at colored pencil. There isn't much that is subtle about the colors of the Western Tanager. This drawing is based on a field-guide type drawing representing the main features of these colorful birds.

This open edition drawing is available in an 11"x14" frame size. It is produced as 100% cotton rag archival fine art paper using pigment-based inks.
