This drawing is of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone in Yellowstone National Park. It is based on a photograph I took in 2001 and is my second drawing of the Falls. I chose a vertical approach to the falls to help focus the viewer's attention on the falls. The scan loses quite a bit of detail in the waterfall, but it still gives the impression of a brighter waterfall against a darker scene.
